Record-breaking day at Celtic Couriers

Celtic Couriers Ltd, the go-ahead delivery firm based in Burry Port, has just had its busiest day of the year.

“We’re consistently busy and always keen to make sure we deliver for our customers,” said Celtic Couriers general manager Gareth Jenkins.

“We’re so busy, in fact, that it’s only when the dust starts to settle that we recheck the statistics and find out how well we have done!

“The Thursday before Good Friday was a record-breaker for 2012, we have confirmed.

“In the SA postcode area we delivered 1,142 parcels.

“The day was also the busiest of the year for collections and we picked up more than 500 parcels and consignments.”

Mr Jenkins added: “We like to think that we live up to our motto of being frequent, fast, efficient and flexible, providing an award-winning ‘handled with care’ delivery service.

“The fact that we get a lot of repeat business is testament to our determination to keep customers happy and, literally, keep on delivering the goods.”
