Burry Port Company Celtic Couriers wins national award
APC Overnight, the UK’s largest overnight parcel delivery network, has presented its Overall Award for depot of the year to APC Celtic Couriers in Burry Port. The award recognises the depot’s outstanding performance and commitment to customer service excellence.
This is the ultimate award presented to an APC Depot and is one of a string of annual awards won by Celtic Couriers who also topped off its big win with a Regional Award. Depot of the Year is awarded to its top performing depot, recognising "above and beyond" service performance throughout the past year. More than 120 depots took part in the largest competition of its kind, with the awards presented at the company’s Annual Conference. "We are delighted to receive this national award. We strive to be the best at what we do and I am pleased that the dedication of all my members of staff has been recognised by this award. They are completely focused on giving 100 per cent customer service," said Gail Skinner, Celtic Couriers, Managing Director.
APC Overnight
APC Overnight is the UK’s largest next day delivery network with more than 120 local depots covering all areas of the country. The network specialises in various timed deliveries as well as a Saturday service. APC Overnight collects, routes and delivers more than 1 million parcels each month with an industry-leading on-time delivery record. The network is unique – not a franchise or faceless corporate, APC Overnight is owned and managed by independent local delivery specialists connected into a strong managed system. Originally created by a consortium of 47 UK same-day delivery companies in the early ’90s, APC Overnight’s has tripled the size of the network, while keeping the founding principles unchanged.
